The first Bulgarian film about the struggle of the Macedonian Bulgarians. The fate of a simple man, Dilber Thanas, turned from ignorant shepherd into a thinking man and a companion of famous leadersis a metaphor for our common history in which human drama and political games change the original idea of struggle and its meaning.
A digitally restored version of the episode will be shown for the first time. This process is the result of scanning the entire negative and cleaning it thoroughly. It was then re-calculated, new color corrections were made and the exposure of the frames was adjusted by adding visual effects to enhance the picture and improve its quality. The episode will also feature a brand new sound, reformatted into stereo 5.1, with added sound effects.
