Combining fictious and documentary element, Holding Positions’ tells the stories of several people, who are spending waiting time at an airport and thereby getting the chance to lead their lives into new directions.

This is the beginning of ‘Holding Positions’, an anthology relating to the numerous opportunities that may arise from staying at an airport. The film interweaves both staged and documentary elements and puts the audience in the same situation as the protagonists.

The film was screened at Int. Filmfestival Mannheim-Heidelberg 2019
